Join the Forest of Dean District Council Leader LIVE on Facebook for Q&A
Forest of Dean District Council are launching Facebook Live Q&A Sessions - the first broadcast will be on 22nd of June, 6pm. The first programme will be hosted by Councillor Tim Gwilliam and Head of Paid Service, Peter Williams.
Throughout lockdown the Forest of Dean District Council’s work has been more accessible than ever and the Cabinet have made the decision to build upon that with these LIVE sessions, introducing a new way for residents to have a two-way conversation with Councillors.
Councillor Tim Gwilliam says: “I am excited to bring this opportunity for residents to ask questions and have a real conversation in an exciting new way. The first session will focus on our bid to the Government’s Levelling Up Fund, with subsequent sessions focusing on different timely topics for the area.“I urge residents that have questions about our Levelling Up Bid to submit them in advance of the broadcast, though there will be the opportunity to ask questions while we are on air.
“It would be great to see residents tuning in, so please join us on Facebook next week”
The first session will take place live on Facebook. Residents do not need a Facebook account to watch. People can simply visit https://www.facebook.com/FODDC/, click the LIVE tab along the top, under the banner image and view the broadcast on the 22nd of June at 6pm.
