Residents encouraged to join Local Plan drop‑in sessions
As part of the Revised Draft Local Plan consultation, Forest of Dean District Council is hosting 8 public events at community venues across the district, including an additional session at Redmarley Village Hall in response to local feedback.
Leader of Forest of Dean District Council, Cllr Adrian Birch said:
“Having spoken with residents, we know that many have questions about the Revised Draft Local Plan, and we recognise that discussing these face‑to‑face is often the most helpful way to get clear answers.
“As with previous consultations, we will be holding a series of in‑person events across the Forest of Dean, and responding directly to community feedback, we have added an additional session at Redmarley Village Hall.
“It is extremely important to us that we engage with as many residents as possible. These events offer a valuable opportunity for people to learn more about the process, ask questions, and share their views on the revised strategy.
“I look forward to meeting residents at the events and having constructive conversations about the future of our Local Plan.”

The consultation for the Revised Draft Local Plan runs from 04 February 2026 until 18 March 2026.
